Meet Bristol: Little Dog. Red Beret. A Whole Introduction.

Way back in July 2019 while finishing up the first half of “SolForce: Kahunas of Khaos”, I drew a shaggy little dog in a red beret. She and three other puppies just so happened to have resemble French-bred dogs, hence why I titled them “Le Woof”. Then in 2023 when they received a new lease in life with my newer Cartooning clubs, I decided she needed to exist in plush form.

Meet Bristol, the bichon frise and one of the four “Le Woof” puppies representing my creative studio world, Ausora!

For me, creating characters is about more than making something cute. It’s about giving a drawing enough personality that you want to get to know the little someone looking back at you. “Le Woof” is another way of sharing that part of my imagination—through artwork, canine characters, and now a small companion you can actually hold.

Bristol has already dressed for the occasion. I’m handling the campaign.

This campaign needs 20 adult backers within two weeks, November 2nd until November 17th-and every reward option counts toward that goal.

From My Sketchpad to Your Home

My drawings, stories, and characters all come from the same place: a love of making things with personality, humor, and heart.

I want these puppies to feel like individuals—not simply interchangeable cute faces. An expression, a pose, or a small detail can become the reason you recognize a character and grow fond of her.
With “Le Woof”, I want to carry that feeling beyond the page without leaving the artwork behind. The illustration and the plush are two ways of meeting the same character.

One lives on paper. The other may end up occupying the portion of your desk you were absolutely going to keep clear.

Every reward option counts toward the same 20-backer goal. Because this is a greater undertaking than I have ever imagined, the plushies preordered if the campaign is successful will readily delivered between late January and early March, while the art print will be shipped off before Christmas. The bundles, of course, will come when the Bristol plush is ready to go!
